       "My GGGfather, Isaac Adair was Captain of Company H of the Texas
    Mounted Volunteers.  He and his men rushed from Galisto with Col Scurry
    to the support of the beleagured Maj. Pyron.  The last we know of him
    was that Col Scurry reported that he was leading his Company at
    the start of the second days fighting. At some point, Isaac was
    mortally wounded and died several days later at Santa Fe."
